Fadzlina Yahya

Puan Fadzlina Yahya graduated from University Teknologi Malaysia with an honours degree in Quantity Surveying in 2008. She started her career with a quantity surveying consultant firm as an assistant quantity surveyor, before joining MRCB in 2010.

While working at MRCB, Fadzlina developed her skills in the contractual aspects of claims, variations and final accounts, as well as the commercial aspects of the construction business, including budgeting, procurement, cash flow and negotiations. During this period Fadzlina was working on major infrastructure projects such as the KVMRT2 Sungai Buloh Line and KTM rehabilitation works, high value residential and mixed development projects at KL Sentral, Penang Sentral and PJ Sentral, as well as hospital and hotel construction projects.

She was first exposed to alternative dispute resolution while working at MRCB, specifically CIPAA and Arbitration proceedings, where she gained valuable experience from her involvement in disputed contracts, working with experienced counsels and consultants during the process.

In 2022, Fadzlina joined CSI’s quantum team, where she assists in performing assessments for disputed claims in relation to work done, variations, termination, while also preparing adjudication and arbitration submissions.

Fadzlina is a Certified BIM Modeller (Structure). She is currently pursuing professional qualifications in dispute resolution and quantity surveying.
