SAMUMTRAM SUBRAMANIYAN

Ms Samumtram Subramaniyan embarked on her career as a planning and scheduling professional since 2008, having obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Construction from UTM.

For a 10-year period Samu was employed in planning, scheduling, progress reporting and delay analysis roles for a range of construction projects, ranging from high-rise office towers, LRT stations, MRT viaducts, hotels, mixed commercial and residential developments and other building construction works. During this period she developed skills in coordination of the various trades, and an in-depth understanding of logic and sequence of work necessary for the proper execution of construction works.

Samu joined CSi in 2019 as a planner and delay analyst, where she is regularly engaged to prepare project baseline programmes, EOT claims and assessments, as well as assisting in the preparation of delay expert witness reports. Recent appointments include retainer services with major Chinese state-owned contractors on a number of High-rise construction projects, as well as assisting delay expert with the preparation of expert report concerning delays to infrastructure works of a oil storage facility in Johor, a disputed hotel reconstruction project in Kuala Lumpur, and a delay dispute concerning a broadcast centre redevelopment project in Malaysia.

Samu is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators. Apart from scheduling and forensic analysis work, Samu regularly assist with tutoring in workshops and seminars on topics such as CPM scheduling and delay analysis methods.
